Terms of Service
These terms govern tutoring services and use of Photon Tutoring’s website and private portals. By creating an account, purchasing a package, or booking a session, you agree to them.
Tutoring services
Tutoring is educational support, not a guarantee of grades, admission, test scores, or other outcomes. Families are responsible for providing accurate student information and a safe, appropriate session environment.
Scheduling and cancellations
Sessions are scheduled by agreement with the family and tutor. Cancellation, late-cancellation, rescheduling, and no-show rules displayed during booking or in your account apply to the session and may result in hours being charged.
Packages, payments, and refunds
Packages provide the stated tutoring hours at the displayed price and may carry an expiration date. Payments are processed by our payment provider. Refund requests are reviewed under the terms shown at purchase; used, expired, promotional, or already-refunded hours may be ineligible. Approved refunds may remove associated hours unless Photon confirms otherwise.
Accounts and acceptable use
Keep credentials private and information accurate. Do not misuse the portal, impersonate others, probe security, upload unlawful material, interfere with service, or access another family’s information. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, nonpayment, safety concerns, or material breach.
Licence and intellectual property
Photon grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the portal for your household’s tutoring. Site content, branding, software, and provided materials remain owned by Photon or their respective licensors.
Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains data handling. You consent to service communications about your account, sessions, payments, and safety; marketing preferences can be changed where offered.
Disclaimers and liability
Services are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Photon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses. Photon’s aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount paid for the affected services during the prior six months, except where law does not permit that limit.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms prospectively and will post the effective date. Continued use after notice means acceptance. Questions may be sent through our contact page.
