Accessibility Statement
Photon Tutoring works with students who learn in many different ways, and we want the website and the family portal to be usable by everyone in the household, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, or voice control.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That means readable colour contrast, text that scales, pages that work without a mouse, form fields with clear labels, and content that is announced correctly by assistive technology.
What we have done
Every page has a single main heading and a skip link to jump straight to the content. Menus, dialogs, and date pickers are built on accessible components that support keyboard focus and the Escape key. Images carry text descriptions, buttons with only an icon carry a spoken name, and colour is never the only way we signal status.
Known limitations
Some parts of the private portal, including a few admin-only tools and third-party embeds such as the Google Calendar booking window and the Stripe payment page, are supplied by outside providers and we cannot change their markup directly. We keep reviewing these and will offer an alternative route (phone, email, or an assisted booking) whenever an embed gets in the way.
Alternatives
If any part of the site is difficult to use, we will complete the task with you directly: booking a session, rescheduling, purchasing a package, or reading a session report. Nothing on the site is the only way to reach us.
Reporting a barrier
Tell us what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what device or assistive technology you use, through our contact page. We aim to reply within two business days and to fix confirmed barriers as quickly as we reasonably can.
